Summary: Peak 10 is set to expand its footprint in Charlotte, NC.
Details: Peak 10 plans to build out a new 62k sqft facility in Charlotte. The facility will be located near the University Research Park (UNC-Charlotte). This will be Peak 10’s fourth facility in Charlotte. The data centre will be built out in phases. The first phase will add 14k sqft of raised floor inventory and future expansions will be dictated by demand. Peak 10’s Charlotte footprint now totals 129k sqft and there have been three expansions in the last seven years here.
Angle: Clearly Charlotte has been a good market for Peak 10. It cites growth from new and existing customers, with managed hosting, cloud and DR being growth drivers.
