Summary: Phoenix NAP updated its cloud infrastructure platform with a few additional features.
Details: The main new feature is the ability to select the data centre location that the cloud server resides in. With new cloud nodes in Amsterdam and Ashburn, Phoenix NAP cloud users now have three location choices (the third location is of course Phoenix) to choose from. Other functionality has been exposed through an API. This includes automated virtual machine provisioning and destruction, firewall rules and integration of accounting and CRM applications. The cloud infrastructure service is relatively new, having been launched back in 4Q11, and features and functionality are still in development. They will make its way into the customized portal Phoenix NAP has built and then the API.
