Skolkovo Foundation: Skolkovo is a non-profit organization created to promote research and development in strategic markets like information technology. It was created in 2010 as a directive handed down by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
Private cloud: The newly acquired resources will go towards building a “Jelastic private cloud”. In other words, Jelastic’s technology will be designed for on-premise single-tenant private PaaS. Jelastic’s first go-to-market product is a platform-as-a-service for Java applications deployed in multi-tenant environments hosted by a third party service provider.
