Event details: Open-Xchange, a supplier of business-class email and collaboration software, will demo an exclusive preview of its next-generation web-based communication software to attendees at its fourth annual summit on November 15 in Berlin.
The Summit will be held in the middle of Berlin at the “old mint,” where for decades German coins were made, and is appropriately themed, “How to make money with SaaS (software as a service).” Presentations, discussions and activities will provide business and technical insights to leverage the benefits that Open-Xchange and its partners have been delivering to global service providers and cloud-based infrastructure companies. Partners at the event include Platinum sponsor Scality as well as additional sponsors audriga, Fujitsu, LuxCloud, Parallels, Openwave Messaging, ProfitBricks, SpamExperts and Univention.
Breakout sessions are divided into two tracks focused on business issues such as increasing revenues and profits, along with improving customer loyalty. Equally important to Open-Xchange partners is technical know-how and best practice deployment models, as well as the integration and scalability benefits using Open-Xchange with existing infrastructure.
New formats for exchanging in-depth knowledge between partners have been created to share their experience on optimal Open-Xchange technical deployments. Guest experts include: Rene Wienhotlz, chief technical officer, STRATO; Klaus Reifenrath, principal manager of products design and development, Vodafone Group Services GmbH; Farooq Ali, senior vice president of products, Openwave Messaging; and Timo Sirainen, founder, Dovecot.
“Our partners’ success is our success,” said Rafael Laguna, CEO of Open-Xchange. “Now, we are ready to shift into high gear with the introduction of our ground-breaking, next-generation HTML5 based SaaS application suite that will enable our partners to deliver a unique user experience, as well as drive greater revenue growth.”
