Summary: CentriLogic disclosed a customer for its recently opened data centre in Bracknell, UK.
Details: The new customer is Menzies Aviation, a UK-based provider of aviation-related services. The move to CentriLogic’s facility allowed the customer to increase capacity and realize costs savings. CentriLogic won a bidding process that involved multiple providers in Europe. According to the terms, CentriLogic has also guaranteed the customer an additional 50% of capacity over the next five years. The facility is mixed use – colocation, managed hosting and cloud – but in our recent chats with management we learned that getting some colocation customers on board to get some initial scale is the current priority. This has the added benefit of allowing CentriLogic to commit more costly managed services resources only after a base of revenue-generating customers is installed.
