The holiday weekend islowed things down a bit in the US but the last few days have seen a great deal of activity coming out of Europe.
Among some of the notable developments was UK2 Group beta testing a new website backup technology under the separate brand Comcure and Open-Xchange added yet another major hosting partner for its collaborative email technology. Meanwhile, we saw Lunacloud move into live production after several months of being in beta. Lunacloud, based out of Portgual, is one of the first cloud infrastructure providers built on Parallels PACI to hit the market.
We also did some follow-up work, getting more insight into the Cequel acquisition of TierPoint and chatting with Interxion about the work it is doing with hosting and cloud infrastructure providers wtihin its Cloud Test Labs. The insight we received confirms that things are starting to move with hybrid coloation-cloud environments but we are still in the very early stages. It is coming but will take time.
Here at Structure Research, we added a new feature for our clients: PDF downloading capabilities.
