Ascenty secures investment from Blackstone to fund data centre expansions in LatAm
Brazil-based Ascenty, a wholesale colocation provider in the Latin America market, secured an equity investment from Blackstone’s Tactical Opportunities fund. The investment will go towards the construction of additional data centres in Brazil primarily as well as other locations throughout Latin America. We spoke with both Ascenty and Blackstone management to get more insight on the transaction.
