AWS launches Outposts; moving further into on-premise world and extending disruption
AWS introduced a new offering at re:Invent called Outposts that brings AWS deeper into the on-premise data centre. VMware is a part of the launch as the VMware Cloud on AWS partnership will also extend to Outposts.
