AWS faces questions after Capital One hack
Capital One and its public cloud provider AWS are facing some difficult questions following one of the more dramatic security breaches of the last few years. Capital One databases hosted by Amazon were hacked in March and over 100m people’s records were copied. It is a big incident, to give an idea of the scale, anyone who applied for a Capital One credit card since 2005 is likely to be affected. The breach only came to light a week or two ago.
